UrbanGreen’s boutique practice and agile operating style means we work differently with every client. We pride ourselves in being able to construct a way of working to meet your specific needs.
Based on our first ten years of practice, we have identified four primary ways that clients engage our capabilities:

Some clients request that we support their efforts as a process advisor. This draws on our broad knowledge of best practices - both processes and products – to help support our client's efforts to achieve better solutions with their current team. In this scenario, our best work is delivered through education, sustainable communications and tools, and sustainable audits and benchmarking.
Collaboration Facilitator

Some clients request our collaboration and facilitation skills to lead a team of consultants they have identified, or we have helped source based on our network. In this scenario we are typically tasked with organizing and managing the project process while guiding the collective efforts of the team to the greatest possible outcome. This format is typically used to generate sustainable master plans, standards and codes, or implementation plans.

Clients draw on our knowledge of sustainable land development as a specific skill. In these situations we may be tasked with a single project, working directly with the client, or as part of broader team of consultants managed by the client. Typical products using this approach include sustainability audits and benchmarking, sustainability implementation plans, codes and standards.

Our industry-wide credibility and way of thinking about sustainability has been of great value to many clients as a way to educate their staff, review agencies or even stakeholder groups. We provide both formal and informal training sessions, participate in, or can organize public speaker series and thought pieces that many clients will use as part of a larger branding and communication strategy. Typical products using this approach includeinternal staff training sessions, community outreach presentations and workshops, communication tools and publications.
