Dana
joined UrbanGreen with experience in master planning, design,
and construction documentation on mixed-use, health care,
commercial, and institutional projects. Providing
a range of skills and interests to UrbanGreen, Dana brings
a unique perspective on the integration of land planning,
community design issues, green building, and architecture.
Dana first joined UrbanGreen in 2004 as an intern while a
student at University of California, Berkeley and was involved
in various research and organizational projects. She
left UrbanGreen for an interim to work as an intern architect
at Ellerbe Becket Architects, where she participated in several
master planning efforts with responsibilities ranging from
project management to design development. Rejoining
UrbanGreen in 2006, Dana’s careful consideration of
social, environmental, and design issues add an element of
thoughtfulness and rigorousness to the development process.
Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from
the University of California, Berkeley, where she focused
on community and land planning design and environmental issues.
Dana has been LEED accredited since 2005 and is an active
member of Emerging Green Builders, a subsidiary of the US
Green Building Council.
